Brousse Vergez is a family-owned group of the food trade, specialized in dried or candied fruit and premium prepared ingredients for the catering trade (via the brand BROVER dedicated to the bakery profession). Dynamic, dedicated and committed, Brousse Vergez intervenes in different channels of distribution: large retailers, specialized wholesalers, the agri-food industry, Cash & Carry, as well as Export in 40 countries. In order to continue the development of the group, and notably in export, Brousse Vergez is searching for an Area Manager Zone Africa for its premium brand Brover (W/M), a leader in bakery, based in Africa (Ivory Coast or Senegal if possible), working from a home office.

Position :

Connected with the Director of International Activity Center, you implement the company’s commercial and marketing strategy consistent with the development objectives and the results of your zone. A real Business Manager, you manage the portfolio of existing clients and develop your activity with new markets while optimizing profitability.

On a day-to-day basis, your principal activities are the following:
Define with your center the commercial objectives of your zone,
Define targeted plans of action,
Analyze the markets and identify business opportunities (commercial but also targets for external growth for the Group),
Develop sales using the portfolio of current clients,
Explore and open new accounts,
Lead the network of local distributors, implement new partnerships,
Participate in the organization of commercial and special events, represent the company in the pertinent international salons of your zone,
Propose possibilities of commercial and marketing development, and participate in their implementation,
Collaborate remotely with our services of supplies, purchasing, accounting, quality based at headquarters,
Maintain regular accounts of your activity.

Profile :

With higher education in business, minimum 4 years type business school, you have at least 5 years of successful commercial experience, international in the food industry or high-end food-service industry, in B to B. You have acquired this expertise preferably in Africa, in the field and/or by animating networks of Distributors or Agents. You are accustomed to working in an environment of quality and marketing where the corporate image is an important lever of business.
Fluent English, both spoken and written, is imperative. Mastery of French as well would be a plus. Also, continuously exposed to different cultures, you are appreciated for your open mind and your empathy.

Divers :
