Solar Turbines Europe is currently seeking qualified applicants for the challenging positions of (m/f):Maintenance Technicians & Field Service Engineers (Angola) Function (Maintenance Technician):
Successful applicants will represent Solar Turbines as field representatives assigned to our long-term maintenance contracts. This rotational position includes preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance, repair and troubleshooting on all equipment under the scope of the contract.
Function (Field Service Engineer): Field Service activities include call-out services, commissioning, project management, high-level problem solving and advanced preventive maintenance work.
Qualifications :
Position profile: all applicants will work in a multi-disciplined capacity with responsibility for Controls, Mechanical, Instrumentation and Electrical Systems.
Applicants must be willing to travel internationally. Successful candidates will have a strong technical background, supported by a technical qualification. Applicants should have some previous experience in the troubleshooting, commissioning and/or maintenance of Gas Turbines, preferably Solar Turbines. An in-depth understanding of controls, particularly Allen Bradley PLC, is preferable. Previous work experience in the Oil & Gas industry is an advantage. With on-the-job training, the selected candidates will be expected to become independent within a reasonable time frame. Applicants should be customer-focused with good communication skills. Fluency in English is essential, while additional European languages are an advantage.
